Thank you. Last summer my daughter decided the garden needed decorating – and among the things she hung on trees were two shoes. I am amazed by how much moss has grown on them since! I am leaving them there to see if birds may be interested in nesting in them.
Fabulous choices this week Karina – all unique and all very interesting indeed. I always think of you as a nature photographer but today you’ve definitely shown us a different side!
Yes Tina. I do tend to stick with nature, though I enjoy taking photos of my family too. I did go out with my camera yesterday with the theme of your challenge in my head 🙂so thanks for inspiration.
Your objects could have come from around here, except for the shoe. Your daughter had a great idea. I might have to copy that idea! Plenty of moss around here.
Especially love the shoe!

Yes, I think it is mine too – love the way the moss is taking over. See comment on Wild Daffodil’s reply for the “history of the shoe”

I like the color in the lawn mower spring and the mossy shoe. That’s a lot of moss!

That shoe is a great find (as long as its not your own, I guess)

No not one of my own. It was one that belonged to one of my kids and had got too small

The mossy shoe certainly has it. Reminds me that I need to wash my car which is also prone to mossiness onthe windows!

Interesting images – we have quite a few of those shoes in our park where we used to have a ‘shoe tree’.

Unfortunately, when they ‘tidied’ the park up a bit recently, they cut all the shoes down! But some more have appeared.
