Lens-Artists Challenge #183 – Memorable Events

There was just something special and memorable about this trip to the coast at the end of last summer. It was probably the last sunny day before the kids went back to school. Something about it just gave me a really warm feeling. It’s a beach we’ve been to before, though this time we choose the little secluded bay as opposed to the big strand. The day was perfect, sunny and warm.

The water was perfect for swimming.

And even when we got tired of the water, there were the dunes to explore, with their wonderful wildflowers.

Harebells

And of course bumblebees – just to make the day.

Perfect for swimming in my mind means the waters were warm Karina – were they? Somehow I always thought waters there were always rather cold! Either way your images are lovely and a day like that is always memorable in my book! Nicely done.

Thank you Tina – well water was probably about 16-18 degrees Celsius which is warm by Irish west coast standards but there was just enough wave and it was so clear, and the sun was shinning so could not ask for more:)

Looks a wonderful and delightful day, Karina! Your coast is always a treat to look at, and I believe your waters were perfect this day! Beautiful pictures – and a sweet bumble bee – memorable moments.
