They are lovely birds to watch. Bossy and territorial throughout the year they really know how to stand up for themselves. This individual is particularity confident and allows us to get within a foot distance.
This guy is really brave. I had a bag of bird food in one hand and the camera in the other and got a couple of photos. Once I put the food out for him, he took three mouthfuls and was gone.
How perfect! And what a little poser!! Merry Christmas to him and all!
