Irish people are not as good as fixing up old houses as people in the UK. It even has lovely view overlooking the sea.

It is pretty remote, but not for West of Ireland. It is an island, but there is A road bridge to the mainland.

I often think that I’d like a writing retreat in Ireland–at least for a few weeks or so a year. This house is a wonder fantasy, although not exactly move-in ready or commuting distance from Birmingham, Alabama. Lovely photo.
