No more than Cathy at Nanacathy I seem to have a bit of a fascination with rusty objects. Wonder what that says about us?

It was Tailys (https://thetialys.wordpress.com) who coined the name in a comment on Cathy’s post. Good isn’t it!

Rust appeals to me because it is proof that ‘this, too, shall pass.’ All forms dissolve eventually. Great series!

The rusty old car looks like art although it is kind of too bad that it isn’t in use any longer. Love this idea!

There is a certain charm to rusty metal. I suppose it’s because it’s Ma Nature showing her power versus man’s best efforts of taming her gifts!

Fascinating to think that these objects were alive at some stage, they were used by people, they were shining and colourful – now they are rusted and past their time. You brought them to live just once more! Nice one.
