Thank you. This one seems to have lost it’s mate. There were two a few weeks ago but have recently only been seeing one. Hopefully it will return or a new one will come. Most years we have two pairs, each pair nesting under the roof tiles either end of the house.
Yes they tend to gather up together in bigger flocks for the winter and then break up into their pairs again for spring. I am not sure if they are faithful to their mate each year, will have to check that up
It might be wondering, “Where did Spring go?” 😉
