We have just had a lovely spring day. Crocuses are at their best.
2. I love these delicate ones too.
3. Hellebores are also flowering nicely.
4. It is always nice to get free plants. These foxgloves self-germinate in the polytunnel.

5. Looking forward to these lettuce that over-wintered in the greenhouse and are bulking up nicely.
6. And finally this week , germinating lettuce seed!!! Yes spring is here!
Thank you to The Propagator for hosting Six on Saturday
The hellebore is a gorgeous colour. I find lettuce quite difficult to grow from seed. IT’s the transplanting stage that gets me. When I move from the seed tray into individual pots they sulk and go all limp on me.

I use those small seed trays, water well before taking out seedling with soil plug attached. I often put water in planting hole and water in. Not sure if that is any help.

Lovely to see these, especially the hellebore and the young seedlings. You’ve reminded me to visit a patch of crocuses I saw a few days ago to see if they have opened yet.
