      Thank you Vicki. The two photos were taken on the same day. We don’t usually get a number of days frost in succession so this weather is quite unusual for us. But I do think our climate is very messed up these days,

      I think the thistle is one of our most photogenic plants, whether covered in bees in full bloom, adorned with fluffy seed heads or in decay:-)
