What a wonderful picture – how the orangey reds carry through from the flower to the butterfly – both so beautiful. Are Cone flowers easy to grow, I wonder.
Actually they will probably do better there than here – when living in East Anglia I remember seeing a whole swath of cone flowers together – they looked magnificent and were great attraction to butterflies.
Fantastic captured! Peakocks are such beautiful butterflies.

One of my favourites – and so few around this summer with all the rain. This one kept coming back to these flowers:)

I don’t think I have seen one at all this summer. And only two Lady bugs, I don’t know where they have been hiding this summer.

We call them ladybirds but like you I have only seen two this year too.
