We visited our friend Celia’s Frogswell Garden again over the Easter. Her garden is a true inspiration. It is a woodland garden packed full of spring flowers. Hellebores are her particular specialty, but there are also many varieties of Narcissi, as well as tulip and much more. Despite the rain I took quite a few photos. Here are a few of the better ones.
Celia is having and open afternoon in aid of Mayo Mountain Rescue on Saturday, April 23, 2016 to 3.30 pm to 5:30 pm

I love the Hellebores but really lovely the stone building with tin roof, I could very happily make room for that here! Hope the sale goes well.

Celia has recently restore one of her stone barns as a workshop for training etc.

Beautiful flowers… I wish we had a good nursery with display gardens around here. Scarce as hens teeth.

Even here Eliza it is not that common, so great to have one so close to us.

It looks very beautiful and the windowsill vignette is a lovely touch. If only people were as rain resistant as hellebore flowers!

Looks lovely! Helleborus are lovely.
Can I ask please about Jane Stanley? Used to know her when Internet was young and from memory, her nursey was called Frogswell.

The nursery is the same, i am pretty sure Celia, who owns it now, bought it from Jane, though i never knew Jane personally. I can find out from Celia if you’d like.
