Actually it’s the man-made pond at Turlough house – have you been? It was very flooded last week and the debris from the flooded river is visible in the fields all along the new walk but water is much lower now.
I didn’t think the pond came so close to the road? Or is that the new greenway and not the road? Hubby thought I was wrong to think it was flooded too š
I was there not so long ago, October I think, just to meander on my own. I’d never been in the greenhouse! A bit disappointed with it, actually, but glad to have it to myself that day.
It’s just the path around the pond – but greenway worth walking especially when the flowers start coming out in Spring – lots of wild garlic and some bluebells too.
I’d have to drive the dog out to a stopping point and unload her to have a good walk for both of us – but I do want to do it! I did see a good bit of it was underwater, bad planning I guess, or the recently-torn up earth wasn’t draining well yet, perhaps? Hmm, I wonder if I might bring some extra flower seeds and ‘help out’. Have to have a rummage through my box and see what is native, of course.
Thank you Melissa. And thank you for all your encouragement and support. It wonderful to have meet you along this journey. Best wishes to you and all yours for 2016.
Beautiful..

Great photograph. Love the way the branches create a frame.

Thank you – I could have spent hours trying to get a good image of the reflections of the trees – so nice.

Now there’s a picture for publication – a natural framing for perfect stillness and calm. Mesmerising.
